Win overwhelming Warriors .. And defeat surprise Thunder in the NBA


The Golden State Warriors scored two points when they scored 51 points and 10 three-pointers in the first quarter to pave the way for a landslide 142-111 win over Denver Nuggets in a clash between the first and second place in the western section of the NBA.

The Milwaukee Bucks, the Indiana Pacers and the Philadelphia Seveners continued their hunt for the Toronto Raptors, who had won big victories.

Warriors became the first ever team to score 51 points in the first quarter.

But Buffalo Preves, who became the Los Angeles Clippers in 1984, scored 58 points in his 126-118 defeat to Boston Celtics on October 20, 1972.

The last two seasons of the game ended the season with 21 layouts, including 10 in the first quarter, a record in a quarter.


The Warriors grabbed the top spot from the Nuggets after winning their fifth consecutive win and No. 30 in 44 games.

The Nuggets have 29 wins and 14 defeats in second place.

Clay Thompson and Stephen Corrie led the Warriors, each with 31 points and Kevin Durrant added 27 points.

The Warriors lost their 100-98 win in Denver on October 21 and will host Nuggets in two games on March 8 and April 2.

Malik Paisley scored the most with Nuggets with 22 points, followed by Jamal Murray with 21 points while Nikola Jokić scored 17 points.

* Great victories

Pax led the Miami Heat to a 6-2 loss to Miami Heat, and the Pacers also won their fifth straight win over Phoenix Suns when they beat them 131-97.

Cameroon's Joel Imped scored double-digit numbers to lead the Seven Stars to crush the Minnesota Timberwolves 149-107.


Pax are second in the standings with 31 wins and 12 defeats against 33 wins and 12 losses for the Raptors.

The Pacers are in third place after winning 29 in 43 games, the same number of victories, but in 45 games.

This is the first victory for Pax since 13 January 2017 and comes with the biggest difference in the history of their matches.

Yannis Antitokombo had three double digits, scoring 12 points, 10 assists and 10 assists for Pax.

His teammate Eric Belidso was the most recorded player on the team with 17 points.

Justin Winslow and Good Whiteside each have 19 points.

Miami remained sixth in the East after losing 21 in 42 games.

The Pacers had a 35 point lead over the Suns, the biggest difference between the two teams since the latter won the same point difference in January 2005.


Tirik Evans and Bojan Bogdanovic finished the game with 20 points for Bakers.

TJ Warren was the Suns' highest scorer with 18 points.

The Suns are in the last place in the West after beating 34 in 45 games, the fourth-worst record among all the teams.

Emped scored 31 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead the Sixers to a fourth consecutive win over Timberwolves.

The Spurs maintained their unbeaten home record against Timberwolves since January 6, 2014.

Timberwolves has not won over Philadelphia since November 17, 2016.

After a two-point lead at the start of the game, he could not face the Seksers who finished the first half with a 83-58 lead.

The difference remained at the start of the fourth quarter, before Siskers won 42 points, the biggest since the Philadelphia win by 38 points on March 15, 1994.

Ben Simmons scored 20 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists in the Sixers.

* Sudden defeat

Oklahoma City Thunder suffered a surprise defeat 142-126 in front of host Atlanta Hawks.

Thunder was a candidate to beat the fifth-worst holder of the tournament but found himself 15 points behind the break.

Thunder rose at the end of the third quarter to pick up progress, but the homeowner regained his balance to win by 16 points.


The two sides shared the victory in the two encounters this season after Thunder beat home at the end of November.

This is the first win for Hawks at home against Thunder since the end of November 2015.

John Collins issued a list of hockey registrars with 26 points, while novice Tri Yang and Alex Lin had 24 points.

Hawks are 12th in the Eastern Division with 14 wins in 44 games.

Commander Russell Westbrook scored 31 points for Thander and grabbed 11 rebounds and Paul George added 24 points.

Thunder missed a chance to narrow the gap with Warriors and Nagtas, who remained in third place after losing 17 to 26.
