Twitter breaks into the American basketball world with an attractive idea

Twitter has announced that it has reached an agreement with the National Basketball Association to broadcast the second round of games free of charge by focusing on one player chosen by the fans before it through the social networking site.

At the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas (Nevada, USA), the company revealed that the test would begin with the All-Star game in the NBA on February 17.

The company seeks to enhance its video services and become a reference platform for sports enthusiasts.

During the first half of the match, viewers will have to watch TV, but will be able to vote on Twitter @NBAonTNT to choose the player they want to follow in the second half.

The player who gets the highest number of votes will be followed up once the meeting is over, with the "iso-cam" camera being broadcast via Twitter.
