About the chat program
With ICQ you can make video chat, send email, short SMS and wireless callback messages, as well as transfer files and URLs. If you are away from your PC you can continue to chat with friends, even if the ICQ application is not installed, using the ICQ2Go web application which runs from any computer.
You can customize your ICQ to be exactly as you need it, and always be up to date by adding shortcuts to your favorite features in order to run them directly from your ICQ. This means that you can send your friends greeting cards and invitations to games, make multiple chats, video sessions, and more directly from your ICQ or message window. In the message window you can also choose to display your own image or one of the images of an animated ICQ.
ICQ opens the Xtraz application, an online application developed by ICQ users to enrich your ICQ experience. Now you can create, download, use and share applications with friends. It's fun and useful to contain music, games, and gadgets. Add what you want where you can find the Xtraz download list at the Xtraz Gallery.
