Watch your movies comfortably in Windows 7 using Windows 7 Codecs
Windows 7 Codecs is a codec package developed by the Vista Codec package developer, Shark007. As in the previous package, this is the Windows 7 audio and video codec package necessary to play movies.
When you install this code on your computer, it automatically removes most known codecs before installing the Windows Media Player package. After the installation is complete, you must right-click the Application Settings shortcut on the Start menu, such as the Start-All Programs-Shark007 Codecs button and choose Run As Administrator.
When the program opens, click the [associate file types] button and Windows Media Player and Media Center will immediately recognize all of your private files as playable.
This movie playback codec does not contain a media player and does not attribute file types to itself. But you will be able to use any multimedia player, limited only by the player's capabilities, to play all movies and videos.
Windows 7 Codecs supports video streaming in many formats in all known web browsers. Users of Windows Media Center in Windows 7 have the ability to choose what is installed, and where it is installed using general redistribution capability. After installation you can choose to remove specific parts without removing the entire package. You can also re-add items that have been removed at any time.
